A Word from the Manager ....
September 9th is the start of the Arun and Chichester youth League, and YMCA's under 15 side have been itching to get started.
They face Worthing United at Lyons Way in a 10.30am kick off, to open the new season. Manager Alex Barron is confident the team is geared up for a decent first season:
'The training has been good so far, but we are just lacking in a few important areas which we need to get right, but that will come with the experience of playing more alongside each other in competitive situations. We managed just one friendly in Pre-Season, against Horsham under 16's, which was a 4-2 loss. The boys however did themselves proud for their first game together, and all that were there watching, will agree they played extremely well in stages against a strong and tough Horsham outfit'.
