Horsham YMCA U18 bounced back from a three game run without a win, with an important three points away at ten-man Hastings United on Monday evening.

YM put their 4-1 home defeat to The Arrows of three weeks ago behind them, and delivered an impressive performance to move them up to fourth in the Ryman Youth South League. Having fallen behind to an early Lee Paine strike, YM rallied back and a penalty from Lewis Scally, before two goals from striker Louis Masih handed the visitors a two-goal advantage at the break.

The hosts pulled one back early in the second half, but Scott Murrell secured all three points for YM as Hastings' Scott Ellis was sent off for foul and abusive language towards the referee.

YM now face a much anticipated local derby against tenants Horsham in the league, a week on Thursday.

YM (4-4-2): Hamilton, Scally, Merridew, Skett, Filkins (Matthews), Collier, Murrell, Haulkham (Case), Stevens, Masih (Magnus), Love
