HORSHAM YMCA manager Chris White has slammed the match officials after a second half penalty denied his side a win at home to Ramsgate on Saturday. White's side were leading 1-0 through a first half Steve Metcalf volley when Ramsgate were awarded a contentious spot kick. The penalty was given for handball, despite the ball being smashed at Metcalf's arm from point blank range. White said: "It was a ridiculous penalty. "The officials cost us the game. Referees have to make key decisions and that was the one key decision he had to make." |
