First Full Season at the club, after suffering a Cruciate Knee Ligament Injury in 2007. Former Clubs include East Preston. YM fans will be hoping that Dan can get back to fitness as soon as possible, as he has shown in Pre-Season training that he has a valuable eye for goal.

Former Clubs: East Grinstead
Signed from East Grinstead Town in March 2009. A Tough Tackling Centre Half. Previous clubs include Redhill. Made his debut in the 2-1 away defeat to Pagham last season, and walked away with the Man of the Match award. A Valuable asset to the squad who is more than capable of performing at this level.

James Rhodes

Former Clubs: Southwick, Three Bridges, Worthing United, East Preston.
Former East Preston player, from 2006-2008, before signing for YM in June 2008. A broken arm halted much of James’s first season, but is now back into contention for Ym’s return to the Ryman League. A skilful player with an eye for goal, Rhodsey is always the first on the training pitch, and the last off it.

Mark Pulling

Former clubs: Burgess Hill Town and Worthing
Joined in the summer from Burgess Hill Town, where he made 79 Appearances. Orginally played for Worthing, as well as Horsham, Withdean 2000 and Wick. Mark Can Play as a full back, or in Midfield. Can be deadly from Set Pieces, and has great delivery. Mark is also the youth Team Coach at Burgess Hill.

Martyn Flack

Former Clubs: Broadbridge Heath.
Joined YM in 2006. Flacky has Ryman League experience with YM, and is the only surviving member of the squad from last season. 3rd season at YM. Previously at County League Division Three Side Broadbridge Heath. Flacky is one of the Local lads, and is the only player to stay with the club, after the 1st team squad walked out following John Suter’s exit. Is arguably the best header of a ball in the squad, albeit defensively!

Michael Death

Former Clubs: Horsham, Oakwood, Three Bridges, Horsham YMCA.
Came back to YM for a second spell, in June 2008. ‘Deathy’ struggled with injury last season, but he claims that ‘I used to be good’, have kept him in the squad.

Mike Huckett

Former Clubs: Arundel and East Preston
Joined in the summer of 2009. Previously at Arundel and East Preston. Has No Problem finding the net. In 2007-2008, Mike scored 22 times in 44 Appearances for Arundel, which hopefully he can replicate for the YM!

Neil Watts

Former Clubs: Southwick.
Joined in June 2008. An exciting prospect for the future, he has also represented Sussex at under 18 level. Predominately a midfield player, but has also been deployed as an emergency Right Back.

Nigel Brake
|
Former Horsham and Crawley favourite joined in June 2009, after a year out through injury. Known for his glorious 35 yard strike for Horsham in the FA Cup 1st Round against Maidenhead in 2007. A quality Left Back with an eye for goal, and an eye for a pass.

Pat Masero

Rejoined the club in July 2009. Broke his leg for YM three seasons ago at Whyteleafe, and after is recovery, joined County League side Oakwood. Once a prolific goal scorer at Three Bridges.

Paul Elliott

Former Clubs: Worthing.
Joined YM in September 2008. Hard working lone man who is capable of scoring goals from anywhere. Scored 19 Goals in his first season to shoot YM back to the Ryman League. You can see Paul on most weekdays on Brighton seafront with a skateboard. Needs a haircut.

Former Clubs: Crawley Town, Saltdean United, Littlehampton Town, Burgess Hill Town, Shoreham.
Well Travelled Winger/Striker who started his career at Crawley Town, winning the Sussex Senior Cup. Started off this season upfront, but has moved back into a Right Wing position, where he can exploit the Full Backs with his trickery. Shaz loves shooting practise during training, and getting his ball back from number 42.

Simon Lockwood

Joined the club In June 2009, to deputise fro the injured Tom Rand. East Preston fans will remember Simon for beating them on his own when at Horley Town, in an FA Cup match three years ago. Excellent Distribution, and Shot Stopping among Simons strong points, could prove to be an excellent acquisition to Chris’s Squad.

Steve Metcalf

Former Clubs – Worthing, Lewes, East Preston.
Defender who joined in June 2008 from East Preston. Will be remembered by YM Fans last season, for scoring 4 headers on debut, on their return to the county league against Hailsham Town. Previous clubs include Lewes and Worthing. A skilful right back who is good on the ball, and scores vital scores when needed.

Steve Sergent

Joined the club in August 2009, from the Metropolitan Police. Has plenty of Ryman League experience with the ‘cops’, and also with Leatherhead. A Hard-working Centre Midfield who loves to spray the ball around the ball. Will be a Useful addition to the side.

Tom Lawley

Former Clubs: Worthing, Littlehampton Town (Loan), East Preston.
Joined YM in June 2008. Having Previously come through the Ranks at fellow Ryman League Division 1 Side Worthing. He made 7 Appearances for their first team in 2006-2007, as well as turning out for the Sussex under 18 side in 2005-2006. A dangerous winger who loves to run at players, and is decent in dead ball situations. Tom likes to go on holidays during football season, and watches comedians on training nights. Dedicated club man.

Tom Lyons

Joined the club in the summer of 2009. Has yet to make his senior debut for the club, but has turned in 3 reserve games so far, scoring 4 goals. Former Clubs include, Crystal Palace, Millwall, Newport County and Crawley Town.

Tom Manton

Joined the Chris White revolution in the summer of 2008, after leaving East Preston. Came back from a broken foot last season against Faversham Town, to play a crucial part in YM’s Promotion push, most notably is probably his 95th minute penalty winner against Lingfield, with just 3 games to go. Remember the 'Magic' never stops.

Tony Timms

Former Clubs – Wick.
Joined the club in 2008, following then Assistant Manager Jason Rutherford to the club from Southwick. Is usually Deployed as a Centre Half, but is more than capable of playing a role in Midfield. Tony broke his arm at the back end of last season against Shoreham, Ruling him out of the Rest of that Season. Will be looking to force his way into First Team contention again this season.
