HORSHAM YMCA could be without a number of players this weekend, including Steve Metcalf who is running in the Athens Marathon. YM are aiming for a welcome three points from Saturday's trip to Whyteleafe, who sit two places above them in 16th spot in Ryman Division 1 South. But they will have to make do without free scoring full back Metcalf, plus Drew Cooney and Mark Pulling, who have a stomach bug, while Shaheen Sadough (back) and James Virgo (calf) are injury doubts. Manager Chris White said: "A win would draw us level with them, with a game in hand. "Four of our last five performances have been quite decent, so we need to go there and get on the front foot." Meanwhile, Nigel Brake appears set to remain at the club, after Horsham manager John Maggs ended his interest in the left back. White remarked: "Nigel has said to me that he would like to stay." |
