Rook seals YMCA FA Cup fate

HORSHAM YMCA made a meek exit from the FA Cup on Saturday, with a 4-0 defeat at Tonbridge Angels.

Former Horsham striker Carl Rook natted a brace, in addition to goals for Lee Minshull and Paul Booth.

Shaheen Sadough and Steve Metcalf had the best chances to haul YM into the game, but boss Chris White admitted the tie was dead inside the first 45 minutes.

"We just didn't play," White said. "It took us to go three down at half time, and they got a bit of a verbal going over.

"The match was done in the first half an hour."
