Sampson quits YMCA role

HORSHAM YMCA assistant manager Tommy Sampson has stepped down from the post in favour of a new challenge. After two seasons as John Suter's right hand man at Gorings Mead, Sampson has joined Sussex County League Division 1 outfit Redhill. The former Dartford, Deal and Tonbridge boss wanted a return to management and sees Redhill as the ideal route back in. He said: "I am indebted to Horsham YMCA, I have enjoyed my football so much over the last two years, it is a fantastic club. "It's a big challenge for me to step down into the County League and improve Redhill."
