Suter 'disappointed' to leave YM

JOHN Suter has revealed his disappointment at being told his services are no longer required at Horsham YMCA after 19 years at the club. A vote of the Gorings Mead club's committee resulted in the club deciding to dispense of Suter. YM were relegated from the Ryman Division 1 South this year, two seasons after winning promotion from the Sussex County League The manager, speaking from holiday in Spain, told the County Times: "I didn't think this would happen. "I tried to think of all types of scenarios and I wanted to know what the committee wanted to do. "It appears the committee do not want me there any more and it sounds wrong to say it but I am staggered by the decision. "It has been a surprise to me and I'm disappointed, I think it could have been done better."
