Davies' goal, from Andy Ottley's corner, was cancelled out by the County League Division 1 side midway through the second half.
Manager John Suter commented: "It was a very competitive game, and a good work out."
The boss singled out winger Richard Greenfield for praise after an impressive display.
"Richard had a terrific game," he said. "I was very pleased with that, and we were sound defensively."
