HORSHAM YMCA are struggling with injuries for Tuesday evening's derby clash at home to Worthing.
Ellis Hooper has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate knee ligament injury and Matt Russell, Tom Carter and Steve Davies have all been added to the casualty list. Manager John Suter, who is not at tonight's game due to a holiday, said: "He (Hooper] has done his cruciate ligament, he probably won't play for a year. "That is a massive blow for us, Matt Russell, who has been deputising is unavailable for tonight. Tom Carter who has been deputising for the deputy has done his hamstring so is unavailable for tonight. "With Dean Ruddy already gone, added to Dan Sackman and Scott Kirkwood, we have a few problems at the moment." Suter added: "We are playing Worthing tonight, a local derby so it will be emotive for both sides. "It is an important game, they are just coming off the back of a 2-0 away win at Met Police which was excellent for them." YM have problems up front as well as a depleted defence at the moment and Michael Death is expected to partner Adam Jupp - who netted his first senior goal at Leatherhead on Saturday. |
