Ym came away from East Brighton Park with a comfortable three points after demolishing an ill-disciplined hawks team. Ym took the lead after 16 minutes when Richard Greenfield, fresh from his 5 goal haul in midweek, hit a weak shot at the hawks keeper, who let the ball trickle past him into the net.
After the Whitehawk Coach had been sent to the stands for abusive language, and both teams picked up a caution, Greenfield made it 2-0 with a tidy finish into the left corner.
In the second half, Ym started where they had left off, and didn't give in to the physical nature of Whitehawk's play. Four more cautions for Whitehawk followed in the second half, and there could have easily been two reds added on, which showed the difference between the sides. Dan Taylor made it 3-0 after being put through by Marwan Alafandi, who deceived the keeper and coolly slotted home.
Subsitute Mazim Hudai made it 4-0, after again being put through by Alafandi, and smashing the ball past the Hawks keeper, who had really lost his rag! Adam Jupp rounded off the rout with his 3rd goal (disputedly!) in two games, with 5 minutes to go.
Ym slip to 9th despite the win, but are only 13 points off top, with 4 games in hand.
Team: Westoby, Fitzgerald, Carter, Bidwell, Potter, Taylor, Alafandi, Grant, Hancock, Greenfield, Jupp,
