A cup match that was won by half-time but our Division C opponents never gave up.
Alex Moon got the ball rolling with two neat close-range finishes before other first-half goals from Christopher Nicholson, Cameron Allan and Ryan Lawford (penalty).
In truth we should have tripled that tally but poor finishing and great goalkeeping kept Henfield in the game and they even managed to grab a goal themselves to make it 2-1 at one stage.
The second half was even more one-way.
Anthony Jupp ran in three goals, the first of which was a belting 30-yarder, while Kieran Sullivan hammered home from 20 yards.
Alex was somehow denied a hat-trick on a number of occasions but Rumon Ahmed did manage three, all top quality finishes after Henfield had pulled another one back with five minutes to go.
In truth our defence was much better than the Henfield attack and both Christopher and Connor Denny were just far too good for their defence to handle.
Alex Holmes also looked good at left back in the second half, but there will be harder tests than this to come
