HORSHAM secured a stunning 8-2 win at local rival Horsham YMCA in the Southern Youth League.

The Hornets went ahead when Alex Harding headed ir a Kieran Johnson free kick but Jake Holmes capitalised on an error to level things a minute later.

Elliott Hawkes restored Horsham's lead but yet again YM hit back as Matt Phelan scored.

Patrick Surlis terrorised the YM defence down the left and goals by Jamie Baxter and Danny Molineaux gave Horsham a 4-2 half time lead.

The second half was dominated by the visitors, as they played some superb passing football.

An own goal on the hour mark was soon added to by a determined Johnson.

A cracker from Baxter gave him his second of the night before the player who had started it all, Harding, had the final say with a bullet header from a Surlis corner.
